Consider These Buffalo Creek Golf Club Facts:

Selected as the only Texas golf course and one of only 12 in the nation to host the 1993 U.S. Open sectional qualifying tournament

Nominated as the “best new public golf course” in the nation for 1993

Named “one of the best golf courses in Texas” by Golfweek Magazine

Chosen as the exclusive Dallas/Fort Worth location for Golf Digest Schools

To see how Buffalo Creek has become so great you must first look at the golf minds behind it.

Tom Weiskopf / Jay Morrish
Golf Course Architects

Mr. Weiskopf, runner-up four times at the Masters Tournament, was voted “Player of the Year” by fellow professionals and by the Golf Writers Association in 1973. After 17 tour victories, including the British Open in 1973, Tom joined up with Jay Morrish in 1983 to begin designing golf courses.

Mr. Morrish learned his trade under some of the all-time greats like Robert Trent Jones, George and Tom Fazio and Jack Nicklaus. He has been involved in the design and construction of several courses that have been ranked in the top 100 in the nation. Among his many design accomplishments is the Las Colinas sports club in Irving.
